Photo Guidelines

For the best results, please upload a photo that is:

• Clear and high-resolution
• Close or similar to size chosen (Ex. Landscape/Portrait style photos would be 30x40, 40x60, 50x80 etc. These will be auto formatted on length and width. Square style photos would be 40x40 or 50x50.)
• Bright, but not washed out
• Not blurry or pixelated
• Close enough to clearly see the main subject
• Not covered in heavy shadows
• Cropped around the person, pet, or object you want featured

Diamond paintings are made from tiny drill “pixels,” so photo quality matters. Very small faces, blurry images, dark photos, screenshots, or heavily filtered pictures may lose detail when converted into diamond art.

Larger canvas sizes will always show more detail than smaller canvas sizes, especially for portraits, pets, couples, and photos with multiple people or lots of detail.

Color & Detail Notice

Diamond paintings are created using small colored drills, so the final kit will have a beautiful mosaic-style look.

Colors may appear slightly different from your original photo or screen display due to lighting, monitor settings, drill colors, and the diamond painting conversion process.

Larger canvas sizes will show more detail. Smaller sizes may lose fine details, especially in faces, pets, text, and busy backgrounds.

Please make sure you own the rights to the photo you upload or have permission to use it.

We may decline images that contain copyrighted artwork, celebrities, logos, screenshots, or content we cannot legally reproduce.

Custom diamond painting kits are made to order. Once your design has entered production, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

If your image is too blurry, dark, small, or low-quality, we may contact you for a better photo before creating your kit.

Can I see a preview before production?

Every custom diamond painting order includes a digital render preview sent to the email address provided at checkout.

This render gives you a look at how your photo will be converted into diamond art before production begins. Please review it carefully once received. If we notice any major issues with the image quality, cropping, or detail level, we may contact you before moving forward.

Once the render is approved, or if we do not receive a response within the stated approval window (48 Hours), your custom kit may be sent into production.

Render Revisions

One small render adjustment is included if needed, such as a minor crop change, brightness adjustment, or subject positioning tweak.

Major edits, photo swaps after the render is completed, background changes, adding/removing people, or multiple revision requests may require an additional fee.

Processing Time

Custom diamond painting kits take extra time because each design is made specifically from your photo. Our custom diamond painting kit processing time is 21-28 days, but we always aim to get your canvas to you sooner.

Processing time begins after your render is approved or after the approval window has passed.

Please check the estimated delivery time at checkout before ordering, especially if this is needed for a birthday, holiday, memorial gift, or special event.

Can I cancel my custom order?

Our small shop does not allow cancellations on custom orders. Once your custom kit has entered production, it cannot be canceled because it is made specifically from your photo.

Missing or Damaged Pieces

If your kit arrives damaged or you are missing drills, please contact us with your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll do our best to help make it right.
